Global Academic Initiatives

Global Academic Initiatives(GAI) is a unique unit within Global Affairs that uses innovative technology based learning strategies to provide high-impact, interactive global education experiences from right here on the ECU campus.

We provide real-time opportunities for students to have discussions and collaborate on projects with peer students at our partner institutions throughout the world.

We work with individual faculty and campus units to help them design and incorporate technology based international experiences into their courses and activities.

We help students better understand both themselves and their place in the world as well as how to understand, respect and effectively collaborate with individuals from diverse cultures.

Since its inception in 2004, over 17,000 students have participated in GAI activities worldwide.

Eligibility: For admission to the certificate COURSE IN GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING, a candidate must be a regular student of St. Aloysius College,Jabalpur, studying in any of our UG and PG program.
